Who et whom : sujet contre objet
Who est le sujet. Whom est l'objet. Voici comment choisir la bonne forme.
Who fait l'action (sujet). Whom reçoit l'action (objet).
Test de substitution : si "he/she" convient, prends who. Si "him/her" convient, prends whom.
"Who called?" → He called.
"To whom should I address this?" → To him. En anglais courant, whom cède souvent à who. Dans un texte formel, whom reste préférable.
