I'm Junaid Farooq, a content strategist and developer who built Word-Counter.online because I was tired of clunky, ad-heavy tools that do not respect writers. I wanted something fast, accurate, and honest about what it counts.

I've spent years writing content for clients who care deeply about word counts: SEO articles with exact length targets, college essays with hard limits, speeches that cannot run over. Every tool I tried either felt like a data harvester or buried the actual counter under ads and upsells.

So I built this. It counts words the way Word does. It doesn't upload your text. It doesn't ask for your email. It just works.

When I'm not tweaking counters, I write guides on word counts, grammar, and the kind of practical writing advice I wish someone had given me in college. Straight answers, no filler, no "in today's digital landscape" openings.
